Help with clean up of my Profile page

Do you mind sharing your user settings? I'm trying to figure out if it is something to do with that..

I have tried with IE and Google Chrome. I refuse to try with Firefox. I really dislike Firefox

I have mirrored your visual settings (had play and not pause) but still.. no X's. I can see the x's on the homepage.

You know why.. I figured it out.. You can do this with subscriptions, but not to posts you just replied to.

To put the threads you watch daily above the ones you don't, just post in each thread giving an update, or comment on someone's picture. It will bring them up above to the more recent activity on your profile page.

Aoxa, are you looking at your 'profile' or your 'home' page?
Whenever I post on a thread, it gets added to my 'recent activity'. Every few days I go through my Home Page and 'x' out all the threads that I don't want to follow constently. They remain on my Profile Page - that way I can find them when I want to check in and see what's new.

I'm a total tech goob so I don't know what settings you need to know about.
Here is a screen shot (blurry, don't know why) The first tab is 'HOME'. The next to last one is "My Profile".

Nothing I just post a comment on shows up on the homepage unless I am subscribed to the topic or the person posting on it.

My profile looks like this: with the more recent threads that I have posted on coming up at the top. I can not X out any of these, though some I would not go back to check up on. That is what I'd like to X out.

This is my home page activity. Anything recent on subscriptions of people I follow, or threads I follow will show up here. I can X out of these no problem.

Im not subscribed to anything........ and I tried logging in IE and still no red x's.......... it must something in my settings or? I do not know what else it could be if some see them and some don't.......
But on my activity I have a zillion threads and would really like them gone......at least the ones that are no longer active..........Kim
