I am in lockdown. I couldn't get humidity past 57. Kept adding water. I put spongy liner on top of wire. Maybe that's it? Pulled some of the liner back, added a sponge & sprayed eggs with water. Humidity shot up to 86! Pulled out 2 plugs, put liner back. 2 hours later it was 68. Repeated spraying & sponge, back up to 86! I have a hovabator. When liner covered wire, I kept adding water & nothing happened. Any ideas? Thanx! Vera

The 68 was fine. I keep mine between 60 and 70% for the last 3 days. I never spray my hatching eggs.
