Help with Identify these worms

Costs me about $60 to treat one horse with fenbendazole once a year (Panacur Power Pac 5 day double dose). It's probably worth looking into.

How much do you think she weighs? I use Safeguard (fenbendazole 100mg/ml) and my Old English Bantams get about .25cc's, my big hens get 2cc's and my big turkey gets 7.5cc's. FYI, Safeguard liquid or paste, you give the same amount... Let me know how much you think she weighs and I'll give you some options. If you don't have a scale, compare her to a bag of flour or sugar.

Probably my hens are 4-6 pounds. The rooster is big, probably 8-9 lbs. Thank you.

If you were to give what I give mine, which is 50mg/kg, you would give:

4 pound bird - .9cc
5 pound bird - 1.1cc
6 pound bird - 1.35cc
8 pound bird - 1.8cc
9 pound bird - 2cc

If you think that these numbers are too high, just give less. As you can see in the picture below, there is a range to use and I just happen to use 50mg/kg for mine. The amounts that dawg suggested would work, too, I just like to be exact.

Thank you for the information. I'm wondering, for those who use the pea-size dose of the paste wormers, do the chickens eat it readily or do you have to try to force them to eat it or mix it in with some ground beef or something else?

Also, is this just a one dose treatment or do this for several days? Or once now, once again in another week or month?

From left to right - Safeguard/Panacur Paste (fenbendazole) - .1cc (10mg), .25cc (25mg), .5cc (50mg).

I would syringe the medicine down their esophagus. Repeat in 10 days.

You're welcome. I really was curious and just wanted to know how much people were giving their birds when doing the "pea sized" amount. Now I know, lol. I learned a lot that day!
