Help with identifying this and what should I do?

Please help me identify what this is on this one day old baby chick. It is right where his bottom is and it is fairly hard to the touch. Does anybody know what it is and what I should do with it? See attached photo please.

Yes, that is what it looks like. Wait for someone more knowledgeable, but in the meantime separate her so the others don't peck it. It should dry up and fall off on its own.
 
Looks like external intenstines to me. The yolk should be at umbilicus if that is the issue. This looks like the vent area. does the chick have a visible vent? Is it pooping?
No it hasn't pooped yet. It looks like it wouldn't be able to with this thing attached.☹️
