I am a new chickie momma and my chicks are about 1 week old. One of them has diarrhea and I can figure out which one. I have 25 chicks and am worried they are all going to get sick. Do I need to treat them with something or is it a wait and see game. This is my first venture with raising chickens and I want to do everything right. I am completely enjoying this new adventure. Please help if you have any suggestions.
Thank you

If they are active and playful, it may not be a problem. New chicks put out a wide range of poops, including some intestinal lining that looks a bit like blood, at times. Just be sure your feed is fresh (not overly dusty, no musty smell, not clumping) and do what you can to keep the water clean. Also, be sure they have enough space that they can get away from the heat if they want to.

This is a good post on the roblems of new chicks and what we can do about them:
