Premiere is closed, and I can't figure this out.
I got the netting, the charger, a roll of wire, a power pack with cord to charger, and another cord to the charger terminating in alligator clamps so that I can hook the charger up to a car battery in an emergency.
The instructions don't say how to hook the charger to the fence! It has diagrams, but doesn't actually say which part goes where. I could strip the ends of the wires from the alligator clamps and hook those to the red/black charger posts, but that doesn't seem like what i'm supposed to do. Do you just wrap the wire around the clamps to the fence?
Stupid instructions

I've looked at online manuals and videos, but none of them deal with this combination of hardware, which premiere sold as a kit. So i'm missing SOMETHING, I just don't know what. I'm hoping someone who already has this setup can clue me in.

Ooooh, I wish I could help!! WE just took our netting down (meat birds done) and hubby is on a hunting trip. If memory serves me correctly, we took a separate peiee of wire, stripped it on both ends, clamped it onto the poultry netting connector thingy, and then clamped it onto the electric fence. We didn't bother with the battery. Does that help???

FWIW, we also disconnected the bottom strand, cuz it was shorting out. ( and when I say we, I mean my hubby)

And if this didn't help, at least it bumped it up.

I do not know that particular model of charger.

However normally what you do, with typical chargers, is that the two terminals on the charger unscrew (wholly or partially) in some fashion, revealing a hole through each one. You poke the stripped-if-necessary end of the wire through that hole, and then screw the terminal tight again. The fence wire gets poked through and screwed into the 'fence' terminal; the wire to the ground rod (or neutral wires on the fence if you have a pos-neutral fence, but you prolly don't) gets poked through the 'ground' terminal and screwed tight *there*.

Does that help any?

If the terminals do not unscrew, then my suspicion would be that the alligator clamps are meant to be clamped to the fence wire and the ground wire respectively, you hsould at least try it.

Of course now Premier will be opening soon and you can call and ask tyhem I suppose

Good luck, have fun,
