help with PVC chicken run

We move our tractor around our property, so we didn't do anything "permanent" or hindering the easy movement of the tractor. Since yours is a "run", the hardware cloth, etc is a good idea.

Thanks for the picture of run wish I would've asked before building my crazy one lol!!
We try to design on the 8' most of the time, but he did this one 10 x 20 x 4. I can move it around very easy all by myself. We are using it to raise meat birds right now, they can stink up a piece of ground quickly. I did staple some breathable fabric on it for shade (on top of the two lightweight insulation boards that are attached to the top to protect from rain. This picture was from early this morning, they are getting the morning sun. Little by little the coop is shaded throughout the morning, by 11 at least half of the tractor is shaded.

Is that hardware cloth on the sides or plastic mesh?

@Devanie here some.....Good examples of anti-dig apron installation, tho I'd not recommend 1/2" HC (unless you have small rodents like rats)...go with 14ga 1x2 or 1x1, will hold up much longer and is easier to lay flat.

Ok so tell me guys ,
Why pvc instead of wood ? Easier to work with ? I know pvc is a bugger to cut , we tried to make a feeder once

I like the hangers because I reduce, reuse , recycle , just buying is so easy , I’m almost 50, married 30 years and I’ve never taken a plastic grocery bag , ever !

We should all be concerned about the amount of garbage... ok I’m done

I did my run all by myself. It took me over 100 hours, but most of that was hand cutting hardware cloth and getting my butt kicked by it. I found the pvc easy to cut and work with. I did put the net on to tight causing one side to lean but I'm coning up with a plan for that. It was not fun putting the net up alone. I'm pretty sure my neighbors heard me cussing and talking to myself. I'm not undoing that darn net.
