help with sexing

I bought 16 baby quail 7 weeks ago. I have white, golden and brown. The dark brown where pretty easy to tell the male and female. Do all females no matter of the color have the spots on the chest? I'm under the impression I have only 4 females and rest males what's the chances of this?

The white ones you have to vent sex. The goldens and brown (pharaoh) quail hens will always have spots. The females will have a much larger, wider vent than the males.

Thanks or the help. I have one white and it is a male. The golden, none have spots but one I'm pretty sure is a female. The vent is different from all the males and no foam. Is it possible to have no spots and be a female? Would be my luck to have only 4 females out of 16 quail.guess I need to buy some older hens.

That looks like a hen hard to say for sure because it is turning its neck but I'd say its a hen.
