HELP!! Wrong end pip?!?! (Oh No! Complications!!!)

can you get a picture? I would think if there was something wrong with the skull she wouldnt have made it this far. As for the one in the brooder just keep trying. They dont always pay attention to the momma either at first

She can live off the yolk sack for 3 days but the sooner you get her eating and drinking the stronger she will be.

I didnt get a picture by the time she turned herself over. She ius belly up with a leg sticking out. I dont see any sign of yolk sack. She is peeping and squaking so i think she is ready. She is now upside down with her beak still up enough to breath. Her sister next to her is trying to zip. The towel is loose enough for her to get out, I didnt pack it tight.

Shes out!!

The back of her head and under her throat look swollen....Ill wait for more pictures when she moves around more. She did lift her head briefly.

cant really tell anything form the picture, but from what I can see she looks ok so far. She will probably take longer to get moving then the other only because of the rough start she had, but then again she could just rest a bit then take off. She got out basically on her own so I would say if there was a major problem she wouldnt have made it this far. When they first hatch their heads can look to heavy for their bodies.

Good to see she's out finally, but her head does look a bit odd in the pic. Can't tell for sure though. I hope she's o.k.

ETA: I just saw the last 2 pics. She does look a little swollen. It's hard to tell from the pics. Everything else looks o.k. though. Let's give her a little time and see what she does.

You can see the difference between her and the other chick. She looks fatter. There's a lot of unused albumen! I've seen small amounts in the shell before, but that's quite a lot

She is definitely "juicier" Im not sure what to think. Will all those extra fluids dry out eventually?

Her sister is playing bowling with the other eggs...should i get her out of there?

I've never seen this before. I've heard of swollen chicks as a result of too high humidity, but she's the only affected one...

Leave her sister in there for a bit so she can dry off. It shouldn't take too long.
