Is it possible she could have eaten some metal? Did you try any of the flushes to clean out her digestive track? Can you post pics of her poop?

She's barely pooped recently. She's not eating, not drinking. She's been given around 10mls of water through tube-feeding and we are about to give her 12 mls moreIs it possible she could have eaten some metal? We are more worried that she hasn't eaten or drank anything pretty much in around 24 hours before the tube-feeding started. That's our greatest concern right now, and since she's been like this for 4 days we would think that any intoxication would've either been fatal enough to have killed her days ago, or she should be recovering by now.Is it possible she could have eaten some metal? Do not get a chick to be friends with your male duck, he will end up mating the chicken and seriously injuring or killing her. So sorry for your loss, but the only thing you can do really is get another duckling, or rehome your duckling to another home with duck friends.Hi everyone I haven't posted in a while because she kept getting worse until she eventually passed away last night. Now, because of the pandemic we don't want to get a new duckling for the moment because since ducklings are fragile we wouldn't be able to help her if she got sick because of how complicated getting things is here in Bolivia. That's why we're considering getting a chick for our Pekin male. I heard chickens are more resistant to disease than ducks? And if we got one would the chicken be able to provide company for the duck? Our Pekin is a very independent duck and very aggresive and we do have a dog in the house (she has her own area) who can sort of keep him company but would the chicken be able to accompany the duck? Also we want to purchase antibiotics, syringes, feeding tubes and more so that in the future if our Pekin gets sick we'll have everything necessary to treat her. What are some good antibiotics that you could recommend we get for prevention?
