Help!!!

I hope she's not broken. Not wanting to give up just yet as sis wasn't to sure either. Any thoughts on the Gasping? It's on every breath.

I hope it's not broken either but like I said before I'm new at raising chickens myself. My guess is there might be a broken bone that punctured a lung or has fluid on lung. Have a vet check her over as soon as possible just to be on the safe side.

Is there any swelling around the body that feels like it has air pockets?

I'm sorry but it doesn't look good. @cow whisperer may be on the right track, a puncture air sac, but there's no way to know unless she has some swelling somewhere. A vet may be able to help her.

Baby chick still alive. Spoke to vet and she had me feed her baby food fruits and vegetables only until strong enough to do chick starter puree. Not sounding to promising to her but nothing ventured nothing gained. Not sure what I'm up against but as long as she is fighting I'm willing to try!

Thank you for the update. Hope you will keep us informed of the chicks progress.
I will! Vet also had me infuse 1 cup water with 1/2 Tablespoon of raw vinegar, some sugar, and mashed garlic for her electrolytes. I'm using a syringe to feed her both the baby food and the infused water. Thinking of making her a sling to help get feeling going in the legs.

Did the vet say what's causing the chick to have trouble breathing? To be honest that was my main concern about the chick.
She didn't say. Guess she's not holding much hope either. I did get told to call her back if she makes it through the baby food stage.

I'm praying for the chick. Just because the vet doesn't have hope doesn't mean the rest of us don't. I know I do just like I think you do too and the rest of the members on here also.
If I was you and the chick pulled through I would give her a name that reflects the following:
1.) Fight
2.) Determination
3.) Strength
4.) Will power
