so we have some how adopted two baby ducklings. i need to know as much info as possible about hope to look after them. They are still small they are yellow. They were going to be abandoned and i could have that.
there is two and at the moment they are in a large rabbit hutch that as a attached run that can be shut off.
1st thing do they need a blanket at night or towel to keep them warm.
2nd at night do they need to be shut off in one bit like chickens

any other info would be greatly appreciated

It’s kind of hard to see them but they look about a week old. Unless it’s in the eighties overnight there, they still need some heat in one area of their enclosure to get to if they’re cold.

ahh ok we only got them a few hours ago. it is quite warm shall i put some towels etc in there bed bit for them to snuggle up in and do you think i should close that one bit off so the can't get out and about and do the need food and water when they go to bed

What a sweet pic and bless you for rescuing them they would have been dinner for a pred pretty quick. What are your temps day/night? they may still need to be inside for a while they look to be 2-3weeks which is pretty young to not be kept warm. Do you have other poultry? They'll need some kind of feed like an All flock or chick starter crumble and a way to drink water so they can dunk their heads have you got feed already? More info
