Hi im new to all this an i had a chick hatch an as it was banging about in the incubator it had broke another egg an that chick is not ready to come out yet its broke the air cell bit what can i do to save it

I can see its beak an it keeps opening an closing hard to see if its out of membrane yes all set at same time i only had 2 out of 4 that were fertile come day 11 so just this 1 an the 1 thats hatched .

Sounds like it has internally pipped as normal and should be ok. Keep the humidity up so the chicks dont dry out. You can apply a little coconut oil to the membrane if you are worried it is drying out, especially if you peeled back the top off the air cell. But only mess with it more if you really think you need to, from what youve described i think it is on, but
Can you post pics?

Thank you very much for getting bk to me .. i cant get a good picture .. it looks like there is a bit of blood on it i have put in a wet paper towel to try an keep moist ??
No...get the wet paper towel off immediately.

I accidentally had half my incubator die once from putting my quail eggs on a paper towel to keep them from falling through the wire, the edge of the paper towel fell into the humidity tray , soaked up the water and when i checked 2 hours later my eggs were cold and dead, the day of hatching!
I hope you ser the message fast to remove the paper towel!
