Pullet or roo
20191205_160937.jpg

7 weeks old and i am unsure of the breed

When you start off saying "im not criticising you" means that you are.. i appreciate your input but i have been posting on here for years and i have never had a problem with getting fast helpful responses.

Also just so you do know i did post in "what breed or gender group".. im sure people will know i need help with a breed or gender.

I’m on the fence. Comb doesn’t seem red enough for a cockerel (that’s what he’d be at this age, he wouldn’t a rooster until he is 1 year old). I think it’s one of those where you’d need to post back in a couple of weeks and see if there is any change, if it’s face doesn’t get any redder then I’d say it’s a pullet.

As for breed, I’d say mix. But where did you get it from?

Yes i can post more photos in a few weeks.
I got 2 hens from a girl not far from me and she has roosters, one of my bantam hens were broody so i decided i would put a few eggs under her and the result was this one hatched.
I will post a photo of the hens i got im assuming the egg that hatched came from the darker hen, they are bigger chickens.
