Pullet or Roo?! 8 week old Orloff.

at 8 weeks old, I feel that comb is very wide and colored... I also feel like I see rust wing bars, so I say cockerel.

Don't worry about the feathers just yet. The male and female specific saddle feathers don't come in until around 12 weeks.

I've heard Orloffs are awful to sex because they are so slow to mature... That being said, I'm going with pullet, nothing is screaming cockerel right now in my opinion. Keep us updated! :D
Hmm, I'm not entirely sure. Face looks pullet like, but those tail feathers are throwing me off. Usually I would judge my comb rather then tail feathers, but being an Orloff canes that some.
Hens usually have short, brown/white, and rounded tail feathers. These are long, pointed and green. I'm thinking cockerel.
Thank you for your help. I really appreciate your opinions. We bought it as a sexed pullet but I’m guessing that might not mean much with this breed. The more I learn (obsess really, lol) the more I love the Orloff. However, I’m not a patient person so this waiting game is sooooo hard for me.
