I have no idea why my pullet bantam started doing this to my roosters. She pecks them on the side of the head and she also pecks their tail feathers sometimes. It's as if she wants to pluck the rooster's feathers and eat them. I tried uploading a video but it wont let me

You can upload a video to YouTube or something then link it here. What type of feed do they eat? She may need more protein. How much space do they have? This happens sometimes if they are too crowded. Or she could be trying to prove herself in the pecking order.

They live in a 12 by 8 coop. I feel them scratch grains whih includes wheat,corn, seeds etc. In the afternoons i open the coop door so they can come out and eat grass.

They only get fed scratch grains? Do they get commercially produced chicken feed at all?

If that's the case, protein deficiency is probably a factor.
