Went to check on our coop for the night and our poor roo’s comb is scary!!!

There are 2 possibilities we are worrying

1. He likes to peck eggs and tries to get them before we collect them…could be dried egg? (It’s just a possibility)

2. Fighting with other roo, the other roo is far younger, and is actually his son. He hatched in the coop and has grown up with him.

The Roos are separated now…just really worried about my guy…no problems before 😔

Do you live in an area where it gets below freezing? He looks like he might have frostbite. (I'm not sure, I have no experience with frostbite) I recommend posting on the emergency and diseases forum, your post will get more responses there.

No, he lives in a temperature controlled enclosure that never gets bellow 70. Will post there, thank you!!!
