I agree with @Kiki it's always better to buy 3 so if something like this happens one won't be left alone. Hopefully the farm won't just give up on this little one though.

Ahh okay, my bad I thought it was the same baby.Thank you! The one that’s not created is the one I’m worried about. I’m heading to Tractor Supply shortly to pick up some nutridrench.
It's understandable to be worried and upset, sometimes these babies just don't thrive and there isn't much you can doI’m heading to the farm I got them at and hopefully they can help it. I feel so awful even though I know this comes with the territory. I’ll still be going to Tractor Supply to pick up the suggested items.
Thank you! I went to TSC and could only find save-a-chick. Unfortunately, the little one passed away.Get some liquid B Complex TSC carries durvet brand it will say injectable but we use it orally. Buy a 1 ml syringe[no needle] that way you can put tiny drops right inside the bill let him swallow then do again.
I really don't think the crest has anything to do with this, it's awfully small crest.
I could be failure to thrive which happens and I have no idea why.

Thank you, I did give it a warm bath and cleaned and massaged the area. The poor thing passed away this morning though. It may have a block at the vent again
It’s the only thing I can think of
When blocked they don’t eat , drink , walk and look like they are dying
Take a warm wet cloth and rub the area seeing if maybe the vent is glued shut
I got them from a local farm but did stop by TSC beforehand and the employee made me feel absolutely stupid.I highly doubt anyone there is going to be able to help the duckling. I was actually asking that way you could go ahead and buy another one or two.
It passed away as soon as I got to the farm. The lady was very sweet and gave us a duckling to replace the one that passed and another duckling just in case. So far they’re all doing well, eating and drinking, and very vocal!I agree with @Kiki it's always better to buy 3 so if something like this happens one won't be left alone. Ive had the TSC replace chicks that didnt make it ( usually within the week purchased ) they are pretty nice about the situations with chicks not making it. Glad they were nice to replace it for you.It passed away as soon as I got to the farm. The lady was very sweet and gave us a duckling to replace the one that passed and another duckling just in case. I'm so sorry, it really did look and sound like Failure to thrive and that means something was wrong on the inside that you had no way of fixing. I'm glad you got a replacement and another 3 babies will be so happy with each other. It passed away as soon as I got to the farm.
