Help!!

when you do get your new ones, be careful what bedding you put them on; for the first week or so we usually use newspaper or feed bags - stay away from shavings until after a few weeks. You gave it your best, sometimes nature wins.
Newspaper actually can cause spraddle leg(there are many causes, but this is one cause) as they get slippery and chicks have no traction. Best to put down paper towels or other such product over newspaper so they have good traction.

Reason shavings are not used for first couple of weeks,is so chicks can locate their feed, then when they are able to identify their feed, shavings may be introduced.

Yes! It was on the right side just under the neck and now it's very small!! I've looked into it being the crop and I'm 100% sure that's what it is. I am so happy that this little girl seems good. She's eating, drinking, running around and chirping like crazy. We just put a stuffed animal in there and we will be getting more chicks after we know that this one is for sure ok. I think we're on the right path. Thank you all so much for your help.
