What will not work.I did this on my hens foot,and it went fine.I'd try it on the beak.It will soak it up and get any infection out.It is already open,right?
No the wound is not open if that's what your asking. It got infected and scabbed over. I did something to see in any part was open. I put a drop of peroxide and no bubbles meaning it's scabbed over to where there's no open ending for any disinfectant or antibiotics will work.
I finally found out what will/should help her.I would soak her beak in warm water then add "Hydrogen Peroxide" to the water.let it sit for maybe 10 or 15 minutes.This will kill any germs,infection etc in the wound.My hens foot as gone down a bit,but she still limps on it.It worked great for me.
Its actually best to put it on the beak after soaking.Not in the water,(I apoligize)
