Dont regret anything. That is just my fear. That is what my humidity has been and its not working for me. I think a lot of it depends on things like elevation and climate in your area.

I want broody ducks!

My lone hen tried to go broody on me twice this year but I wouldne leave her out with the stupid racoon lurking. I tried to move her nest she wouldnt set back on it

What I did to get my Japanese bantams to go broody is to put them in their own pen/cage and let them lay their eggs in the nests and when the 2 finally went broody I split eggs half and half so they had an even ammount of eggs. Some eggs were like 2 weeks old and hatched.... Weird, but they hatched!

Isnt that always the problem? Not enough pens? lol
I have that problem also, need to get building some!
