P.S. I went out to collect eggs again and I spotted another duck egg by the fence. I have no idea how old it is but I'm gonna try it anyway. I figure since I just found the first one today, and then find this one this afternoon, not knowing if it is the same hen, and they just started laying, well it can't hurt to try.

Well, I've posted in another forum that I had 3 eggs hatch early. I heard peeping last night that didn't sound very happy, so I went to the Bathroom Nursery to see what was up. All the chicks in the brooders looked at me as if to say, "Whut?!?! We've been good!" I spent some time there (how can one not spend time with chicks??) and came back to the PC. Still heard the unhappy peeping, so I went into the Guest Room/Incubator Room and danged if there wasn't a fully hatched chick in one of the MiniAdvance 'bators! I was due to lock it down later last night (because I tend to set eggs late at night).
Before I went to bed, another hatched, and the third egg hatched overnight. There were 3 eggs in it, from 4 set when I had too many to fit into an Octagon20. THOSE 24 haven't even pipped yet! March 1st is their scheduled hatch date!!
3 little Giant Cochins, 2 silver laced, 1 gold laced.
Call duck eggs still cooking, too. And some other eggs given to me by HHandbasket when she went egg huntin' at various farms.
