Absolutely normal to only hatch a couple at a time, ady. That's part of the reason they aren't easy to find and are so expensive to buy.
LOVE them! Congrats to you on them and I can't wait to see how they grow-BQ FOR SURE, but very possibly SQ little birds if they feather out well!

ooo yay! i still have 12+ coming from that one auction i bought of call eggs and i have my white ones in the bator now... oh and by the way I LOVE MY GENESIS!

These ducklings are so hilarious. If I don't step to it fast enough to give them EVEN more water to mess in, they whistle at me when I walk by.
So bad and messy, but so adorable.

Well, my vet is in surgery, but supposed to be calling me back any time. Worries me that he couldn't just let me talk to a vet tech or something...I can't stand this!
I have another PQ Call duckling that just pipped and my little zombie duckling is still just sitting there in the hatcher in the half shell.

OK, the test results came back-pneumonia. OK, I knew that, people. What caused the pneumonia????? I have no answer after all of this waiting and agonizing and still don't have a clue what my situation is at this time as far as being able to sell eggs, chicks, etc.
There are words I want to use right now that aren't even suitable for NON-family friendly forums.
Stuck in neutral right now and completely furious...
