Do you all remember my silver phoenix who pulled out her breast feathers and stayed on the nest for a day oh, about 2 months ago? Well, I just went out to lock them up and she is broody

Just when I am about done with babies! Do you think she would do OK if I gave her the eggs in my bator that are due a week from saturday?

Oh, she can have eggs. It's just a matter of if I give her new eggs (which I did, I left a marans an an ee egg under her from today) or do I give her 1/2 baked ones so I don't have to brood them and she gets off the nest sooner. I think there are too many in the bator for her though, she's not very big. The marans girl is huge, I could fit a ton of eggs under her

It really depends on if the eggs you have in the incubator you really want to hatch then I would keep them in the bator and not chance it... IMHO
I think it would be better if you gave her her own eggs.

Morning everyone. So glad you are all OK.
My family had a close call last night with one of those storms, but thank God they are all OK and their houses didn't get messed up.
This weather is CRAZY!

. NPIP is so confusing! I have to wait until the last batch of ducklings are 4 months old. But she told me she can come out anytime for free to do the flu testing so I can take all the extra boys to auction so that is good. And she is going to hook me up with call people
