Morning all!
I woke up to my teeny little Pyncheon Bantam rooster crowing in the laundry room VERY early this morning. Forgot to tell DH he was in there. Surprise!
He was sneezing a bit so I panicked and brought him in-he's fine, guess it's just so dry that it's irritating his nares/sinuese/whatever. He's in good form this morning.

Good morning everyone! Sorry i went to watch a movie last night!
All this talk about scary animals while i was gone.... DH is terrified of Sharks and i dont disagree with him! And we have gators spotted up here in central tx all the time and i dont like them either. the fact they roll and rip off body parts just gives me the willies. We have scoripions here too. I got stung by one that got into the house and was on the couch.... hurt like 10 wasp stings!!! And i dont know about cougars up here even though they say they are around but we have seen many bob cats around here. Hogs run the back of our property and i hate them. They are eating all my berries and they dig up the ground. Its too hot for hubby to sit back there at night but when it cools off he's going to bring home the bacon lol

haha not that funny huh. Well i'm about to go check out the trap and feed all my babies! I'll be back in a few min

And east... lol i can't imagine being woken up by a rooster in the laundry room... but i'm sure its bound to happen!

Suprise suprise I haven't heard anything out of the seller for 1 day. I wonder if she is going to come up with an excuse saying she cant ship them because she was busy,

Ugh!
Oh and broody light brahma is still broody and I put her in her own cage and I'm still waiting for her to sit on the egg that I'm useing as bait at the moment. If she decides to not be broody then I'll get one of the silkies! They'll sit on the eggs for me!

While I was trying to catch the broody hen she decided to run outside in the run to get away from and the run is wet and slipped and fell in nasty dirty chicken poo.

Good Morning. I am currently at work and would love to have some company today. Chicks were out in the coop for the first night last night and I think I went to check on them about 100 times so needless to say Im tired today.

I had a rooster who slept in the downstairs bathroom each night right under my bedroom. I have to say that we were pretty happy when he went to live on a farm and we didn't have to hear him at 4:30 anymore.

Duck, sorry you ate it in the run this morning. I know how that goes.
Quick funny story. So I went to see if Velvet had hatched the ducklings yet and sat down in my chicken chair to hold one of my little Pyncheon girls. Gumpy kinda sidled up to me, real friendly like and the next thing you know, he was taking a big leap at me. Out of NOWHERE, Lucy, my PR hen was on his face, "flogging" him in the face! My hero! It was great, Gumpy suffered the ultimate humiliation, he got his back end kicked by...A GIRL! Go Lucy!
