Baby keets hatching! 20180412_125249.jpg

I know it is. I thought I had a short memory ..

last night was the first time since last fall that it did not get to below freezing.

I did get out and play with the little lathe today. I just had to try out the lathe tools. I sharpened all 10 of them by hand using a diamond file. It worked slick. only took about 15 minutes.
I haven't used a lathe since about 1960
I really do need a lot of practice..
I didn't know what I was doing then, and I still don't today..
I hope the keets don't fit through those wires in your carrying cage..

right now full grown guineas are selling for $10 to $12 , of course there are some people asking like $27..
keets are usually about $4..

well, back to winter. spring was nice for the two days it was here..

do you remember Spot? the left over puppy from last summer ? we got a real nice email with pictures from his new owners. He is spending a lot of time with their horses, has adopted 3 ducks.
still collecting things and piling them up.
she said he has a collection of about 50 toys..

going to the chiropractor in a few minutes.
gotta get rid of this throbbing nerve pain on the top of my head..

thanks It is a nerve thing. when the muscles in my neck get tight, like from turning my head too far and too often when I am on the tractor. the muscles get tight and then the nerves run up my neck and to the top of my head. makes the hair hurt.
It comes and goes.

Maybe heating pad, muscle relaxers or linament?
I am at the swap today, trying to sell bunnies. No luck so far. But i did put my info on the bulletin board. TSC is having a sale.

thanks Molpet,
interesting video.
however, I am not supposed to use one of those because of my pacemaker.
In fact, the Dr. and some technicians just about flipped when I told them that I was using a chain saw.. I am not supposed to even run electric wood working machinery.
so far none of those have killed me.
I imagine a large HP electric motor would do some harm.

we have six inches of new snow on top of the 1/4" of frozen rain that fell last night.
I wanted to go get some LocTite Red, but that can wait for another day..

so today I spent a while watching U Tube.
getting pointers on how to do turning on the lathe, and also how to make some extra attachments .
