well, my day sort of turned to siht..
I checked the switch on the motor. OK
reset button works.
took the capacitor in to buy a new one.
the guy checked it out. it was OK.
sooo, the problem has to be internally in the motor. tomorrow is another day.

had Panang Kai for supper.
Got a call before I finished eating.
a guy from Oregon is interested in a girl pup
I sent him a few pictures.
he has cattle and a few sheep.
said he has been sliding by for a couple of years, then all of a sudden the coyotes found his sheep. doesn't take long to pay for a dog if you are losing a couple of sheep per week.

they sure look forlorn don't they ?
they just ate and I woke them up..

Adorable! Sorry you have motor problems.
I may go shopping tomorrow. Need some hinges and some stuff at TSC. At least the stores are air conditioned. I am so tired from working outside in the heat.

Here is a tip, dong lug the nesting boxes on the outside of the coop ive saw a lot of people online and on Pinterest put the nesting boxes on the outside so all they have to do is lift up a door and get the eggs, although this makes getting eggs easier the eggs Ted to freeze faster then they do when they in the coop

Yeah, that is how i made them when i lived in TN. I just need to decide how high and where i want them.

They are just adorable! Are they Newfoundland?

They are Maremma LGD.
LGD = Livestock Guardian Dogs
they came from Italy to the USA in 1975.
Not very well known yet, but are awesome dogs..

By the time they are a year, they can handle the smaller preds like foxes, and coons. coyotes will give them their space, too.
they seldom have to actually fight, their job is to mark their territory and bark at anything that gets too close.
barking dogs will make most preds think twice about making a visit. they want an easy meal, they don't want to have to fight for it.
I haven't had a pred on my place for over 8 years.
there is a pack of 7 wolves within a mile of us. they don't come a calling..
a neighbor who is about 1/4 mile from us loses chickens to coyotes or foxes just about weekly.
.
I had a 1 year old male that I rescued get into a fight with my 3 year old male. believe me, no coyote could stand up to him..
