Helpful hints for building coops

Funny how some contractors act like they're doing you a favor instead of trying to earn your business and the business they can get from your referrals.

A reliable contractor is worth his weight in gold.

I'll put an AMEN to that ..

I was waiting for someone to get back to me on the dosage for chemical to spray in the coop but she never did. I will have to calculate it myself I guess.
Just came in from feeding the young birds, they act like they hadn't been fed for a week . Instead of late last night! Looking forward to putting them in bigger quarters.
So as soon as I cool off a bit, I will go spray. Then plan to paint the latest big piece of a tractor crate. For the new coop.

5 eggs today out of 10 pullets and no thin shells on the poop boards, I'm really hoping that time plus the diet changes have helped. I made liver and onions with mashed potatoes for lunch today, yummmm.

I like L&O's .. Only if I make it..
We got the hydraulics together today. And they work !! tomorrow the radiator goes back on. then we can hook up the bucket.
I took pictures of the hydraulic pump system.
It is one that I planned and built for this tractor.
It just started raining at 7PM.

I do not like liver and onions, but when I was a cook at a Friendly's some 30 years ago there were people who would only order liver if I was cooking because I knew how to cook it nicely without turning it into a piece of shoe leather.

It's raining here too. A soft drizzle.

If it will rain all night it will soften the ground enough that I can re-set my poultry net posts to get the sag out. (This fine sand is like CONCRETE when it's dry).
