I do not like liver and onions, but when I was a cook at a Friendly's some 30 years ago there were people who would only order liver if I was cooking because I knew how to cook it nicely without turning it into a piece of shoe leather.

It's raining here too. A soft drizzle.

If it will rain all night it will soften the ground enough that I can re-set my poultry net posts to get the sag out. (This fine sand is like CONCRETE when it's dry).
I used to cook liver in the microwave, with garlic on it. The dogs love it.

The top is lashed on the run! Once I get the pneumatic stapler down there I will finish attaching the wire to the wooden parts. Next hardware cloth, and attaching that. Then I will actually be ready to take the coop down there and hook it up.
The coop is sprayed. Currently airing out.

Permethrin
Dilution rates should be on bottle.

This s waht I have in my notes:
Permethrin spray(Gordons 10)
At 10 mls (two teaspoons) per 1/2 gallon(2qts) of water in the sprayer
At 5 mls (one teaspoons) per 1/4 gallon(1qts) of water in the sprayer

rained all night and still going at it.
nothing will get done outside today.
not much on TV. I watched about all the food shows I can handle for one day.

Just stopped raining. I have been watching murdoch mysteries.

I made fresh tomato soup today, froze some and we had some for lunch. The smoke makes working outside unpleasant so we've been staying indoors and I have plenty of produce to process. We have 5 dependable layers and one of the other girls laid a tiny egg with a good solid shell in the boss hen's favorite nestbox. I picture her walking around with her legs crossed waiting for the boss hen to finish in the box.

But this stuff is like 36% instead of 10%. It doesn't give dilutions.

Boots, I just mentioned to Annie that I hoped you two were OK. With you being close to the shore, most of the fires must be to the east of you ??
Don't hesitate to run..
today I put the radiator back onto Ollie. Dan helped me put the loader on. I took Ollie and turned the rotted wood chip pile over real good.
All worked very well.
Tomorrow we are getting a big load of granite for the dirveway. Ollie will earn his keep leveling that all off..
our late Roma tomatoes are turning red. I foresee a couple of canning sessions coming up..
Cappy, look on youtube for the mix for your spray.. I suspect an ounce or two per gallon of water would do it.. Or compare it to something similar and use that dosage.?

Oh, did I mention that the Packers won today ??.

This run is taking forever to finish. But lots of other things going on right now.
