We got wind but very little rain.

Chickens are fine, as is the cheap, small pavilion shading their coop in the temporary location.

The big, higher-quality, pavilion that made our outdoor living room is a pile of wreckage.

Sorry your outdoor living room is toast. But better than the coop

My tachometers arrived on Thursday. Supposed to warm up in a day or two. I will try them out then.

On the good side, my SIL, who bought a house 1/3 mile down the road, talked to me today about converting a lean-to against her shed into a chicken coop.

I got the interior of the packing crate coop repainted today. Took off the nest box, modified it and painted that. Built a new nest box the other day, so I will have 2 for that coop. Hubby cut me some small trees for use as perches. I need to get those installed, as well as the nest boxes.
Hubby wants me to cut the trim for the huge greatroom window tomorrow. Just when I am trying to get everything winterized.

good afternoon all,
I skipped PT yesterday, Went to the walk in clinic instead. Went back to walk in again today and will go in again tomorrow.
I suddenly developed an abcess on my upper leg. had it drained and the pain went away.
They are taking all kinds of precautions because of my recent hip replacement.
I am going to make a raised bed for the garlic. Not going to build anything fancy.
just a box.
still nothing but cold here..

it was painful. \
No, it was on my right side. Dr said probably a hair folical .
all of my email contacts must be busy. pretty quiet on the websites..

the wind knocked the top off of one of my pine trees.
It landed on the pick up truck. No damage..
