I don't have a place that big that vermin can't get in. I store mine in metal barrels.
I have it in the walkout basement. Metal shelves on the concrete floor, dusted with red pepper, covered with empty feed bags. So far they haven't bothered the stacked bags, I catch them in the traps every week

Supposed to hit 50° today, but 100% chance of rain. Not good for outdoor work. Lots of coops need cleaning.
Still need to cut a goat door in the barn so the goats can go back out to the field during good weather. Perhaps i can get that done today.

Didn't get the hole cut, but it's on my list for today. Of course i will need to build a door for that spot. Got all into designing a feeding/ loafing pole barn type structure with a feeder area for the kids. So perhaps i will get more materials when i go to Danville Wednesday to sell a bunny .

I did cut the pop hole for the goats today, except one area in the bottom corner. I couldn't get at it due to the barn framing boards. So another day i will use the reciprocating saw to cut it out. I need to build hay feeders for 2 of the stalls as well. I use pallets for that. Choosing the right pallet is key. The boards must be the right distance apart, or else you have to trim them.
Once i get the plan figured out for my pole barn type feeder shelter, i can post it.
It's going to be 50° tomorrow! But i will miss most of the day between dental work and shopping.
