I know how you feel about not being able to do what you want.
I get so winded so quickly.
that never used to be a problem until this year. and I fatigue so fast.
I feel so useless. I am no help to
Annie. She just keeps going like the
Ever ready bunny.
I am going to try to do a small project each day. maybe my stamina will come back a bit.
We can't just give up, eh?

I still believe Philips are so much better that straight slot’s.

Those are the devils own….

However, I have come to really appreciate the “star head” construction screws!
 
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL OF YOU MOTHERS.
WE JUST HAD A NICE LASAGNA DINNER. OF COURSE, MOTHER MADE IT.
I HAVE BEEN USING THE STAR DRIVES LATELY. I LIKE THEM EVEN BETTER THAN THE SQUARE DRIVES
I HAVE NOT USED A FLAT DRIVE FOR MANY YEARS.
it is 57F here, but it is a nasty 57F
kind of rainy misty and windy.
I don't feel like going outside.

DH is buying me take-out pizza because I'm not well enough to go out to dinner.

Our daughter is here and our oldest son, who is out of town, bought me a book on Kindle.

Right now DH and DD are building me a maternity ward box so I can set a broody without other hens laying in her nest.

Not having a mother for my first time since my mother has died, has been very sad for me.
The good part is that both of my sons called me today.
Sorry to hear about your sad day today, Aart. Hugs.
I went shopping for a little while with my neighbor and both bought ourselves a few plants. Hubby got me 6 hanging baskets for Mother's day! I think he was feeling guilty for breaking the plastic backup light cover on my truck. Lol.

I get out of breath easily these days. Just walking up the stairs to my bedroom is tiring. Or even walking up hills. But i still collect buckets of rocks and bring them home, even if i have to rest on the way. I also look for arrowheads, but they are harder to find.

My brother came out today and trimmed the two apple trees. they are over 50 yrs old.
they grew out of a discarded apple core tossed out in the yard. two completely different varieties. I never sprayed those trees. never had a wormy apple.
well, the one tree is completely dead. we cut all of the lower branches off. left the main trunk and high branches for later on.
took green cuttings from the other tree for rooting.
to celebrate a job well done I served a couple of cold home brews.
I have elderberry and plum shoots in dirt for rooting already.
will prepare the apples tomorrow.
I made green houses out of five gal pails .
filled half full of dirt. stuck inside a white 13 gal garbage bag. tied shut over the top of the bucket.
