I'm in the 50s but it's so gloomy.

80 here - the brief rain cooled us down some. Humidity still near 100% of course.

I got the barrier installed in the barn stall today. And built a piece to add to.the gate so the young goat will not escape. Next to put a grid over the window so he doesn't break the window trying to escape. Once i add welded wire i can put him in there.

I had two goats donated to me a couple of years ago. I had a nice big area fenced off around the nut trees. those two would not stay in . I had cyclone fence. I would put them in and they were out under the fence before I could get the gate latched. So I put them into a small pen. Lucky for me a guy came around and wanted to buy them. So I sold them. If he would have asked, I would have given them to him for free. but a buck i$ a buck, eh?
It looks like we are going to have spring until at least next Sunday.

I have to set up both the broody breaker for Mocha -- who is only 7 months and needs to finish growing up before she becomes a mother -- and a maternity ward for Cordon, who sat so diligently on the golf balls last spring and deserves her chance to raise some babies.

That is, my 16yo will set them up while I supervise. Because I'm STILL sick and have been put out of work for yet another week.
