A view from above where the skylight meets the metal roof. I will be caulking next. Time for lunch. 20170813_124329.jpg Caulk is no good, so i will have to get some tomorrow.

ooh, it's getting there. can't wait until the "grand opening" :D Looks like a lovely shady spot. The girls are gonna love it.
It is really nice here in the woods. I might have put some plywood up but i had to go cut branches to put around the garden so the fence looks higher to keep the deer out. So upset something ate all those plants!

This evening i crawled up on the roof and caulked the skylight seam. Then slid a panel of metal roofing over just in case it rains. Did a bit of painting inside the coop too. I need to buy more plywood tomorrow. So glad husband put the windows in . And... they fit!

Not on topic, but here is a picture of our house. I did get plywood today but i should have bought another sheet. Also bought vinyl flooring in a wood look for the floor. And materials to hook up my new solar fence charger around the garden. 20170815_181856.jpg

Note to self, do not build a coop with a slanted roof again. Makes building the walls a headache. Flat is much easier!
Slanted as in rise/run or A-Frame? I'm planning a walk-in A-frame to build for the harsh New England winter hoping the snow will just slide off so ideas are appreciated.
