the top picture is the wooden frame I built out of red oak. there is not a nail in it.
all mortise and tenon and some wooden dowels.

the middle picture is the pllucker tipped on it's side showing the chain and sprocket drive I designed. that is a 1 HP motor with a #40 chain.
I can adjust the tension on the drive chain by moving 4 nuts up on down on the bolts holding the motor mount.

the bottom picture is the 99% complete plucker. the wheels came off of an old wheelchair . I used the large wheels on my 2 wheeled garden cart that I built.

Looks pretty ingenious! I am doing pretty well today, only 5 more pieces and that second wall will be finished. I sprayed the vent black because it was too noticeable when it was ivory colored. Made sure to put newspaper inside so the fumes would not bother the young birds.

I went to Lynchburg this morning and did not get back until after supper time! Everything took longer than it should have. Bought .308 deer rifle and ammo. And a game camera with a data card. I am set for hunting season!

My Dad said i could have his rifle but my brother will not give it up.

I understand, there is a lot of that conduct in this world.
you did the right thing, it is not worth getting all worked up over..

was a nice night for sleeping with the windows open. looks like another hot day today.

Feeling so tired today i might just do housework and rest up. Cool weather is coming soon. Or maybe play in the garden once the shade comes around. What is everyone else up to today?

Too hot here today too...but got a drafting gig so am holed up in house with all drapes drawn to keep the heat out(no AC).
Got fans? I would not like having no ac. We have used it some since we have moved here, but spend a lot of time with the windows open. Doors would be open too, but someone has not put up screen doors yet.
