Helpful hints for building coops

I worked on the garden, getting ready to finally plant garlic. Worked on my latest hoop coop... since the hens keep hatching chicks LOL

I put all the blocks around the raised bed after i poured concrete.

One more bush, a bunch more bulbs and another layer of landscape stones, then mulch. Oh yeah and another load of sand and manure.

Tomorrow for me...supposed to rain Monday(fingers crossed-but should probably water then lots of mulch).....temps are going to plummet Wed staying below freezing day and night for a week.

I have about the same forecast.

Yesterday the workers put 2 windows in the goat shed. Today, nothing.

the bottom starts dropping on monday and then it is "hello winter" from then on.
we have been lucky up to now. we can hope for an early spring..
tomorrow I have just a tiny bit of pick up to do. basically 3 plastic pails and a few odds and ends of boards.. and a black garbage bag with IDK what is inside of it..

the Wisc Badgers just lost their play off game. Ohio put on a pretty good showing.

after I get the outside done, I think I better do a lot of cleaning in my shop.. I have about a truck load of shavings to scoop up.
and lots of scrap wood to set on a pile for fuel for the stove, once I get it dug out.
I could take a before & after picture, but it is too embarrassing ..

I need to sweep out my workshop too. I took some cedar wood in today to use for signs i am making and i put it where Charlie likes to lay on a scrap of carpet. I moved the carpet. When he came in he looked where it was before and i put him in the new spot. He looked disgusted and went back outside. He makes me laugh!
Here is the latest sign, poor lighting but it is fairly dark in here.

it is much darker looking. Maybe i will get a picture outside tomorrow.

I have to do a lot of shoveling before I even think of sweeping in my shop.
