good chilly wisconsin morning,
we got about 4 to 5 inches of new snow on Monday...
I have not plowed yet. there is ice under all that snow. safer to walk on the snow than to slip on the ice..
I take the garbage dumpster to the end of the driveway in the tractor bucket.
we will see, maybe I will push a little snow off of the driveway.. nobody walks there much..

we still have the Florida bound puppy, she got bumped from her flight on Monday..
we have her re scheduled for Thursday..

Cappy, another Accuview ??
I have three sportsmans, two of them I have modified to go over 500 eggs from their original 240 ..
I have had all three filled at more than one occasion.. I did custom hatching..
once a guy brought me 110 turkey eggs.
almost all of those hatched..
there is not much profit in custom hatching.
I liked it best when we split the chicks 50/50 ..........jiminwisc........

My other bator is a Brinsea. This bator looks like cheap plastic junk but hopefully it works. Going to build a box around the bottom. Should have just bought styrofoam but the visibility is great. We will see...

I left mine in the box to help insulate... works well, I like that I can adjust the room temp... I have it in the most stable room temp in the house.. which usually is 65f

I have a sealed room in the basement,
when I have all three bators going at once, the room gets up to about 80F..
well, tomorrow the pup is supposed to fly out.
hope all goes well this time.
On Friday morning, someone is supposed to be coming for a pup. if that happens, then we will be down to just one pup left..
the people who bought Spot keep in touch.
they just love him.. and he is staying with their two horses in the pasture..
now they bought some chickens and Spot does not harass them.. good dog..

I still need to figure out how to adjust the temps. Digital and i are not friends. Turner makes odd noises in my bedroom too.
Oh, and the juvie quail i ordered are coming next week! I really need to whip up another hutch. :lau

I put the plywood on over the hardware cloth to cut the wind until the temps warm up. I still put the tarps down at night, but i feel better with less chance of wind on them.
Hubby unloaded the lumber off of my truck for the lean to so the bunnies will have a roof over their condos. Now i need roofing tin too.

Incuview?
Intimidated me too, but someone on the main Incuview thread laid out making a change step by step, it really helped me get going.
It's still not as simple as turning the heat up or down like on a foamy.

good almost spring like morning,
supposed to get up to 30F today.

Cappy, with all that work you do, you need a hobby to unwind.:lau

are you talking about digital or solid state setting.. those solid states can be tricky.
with mine, instead of trying to move it just a fraction of a turn, I mark the spot and take the indicator way off and come back to where I want to be.. that does not always work, either.

I have been watching threads about the incuview.. it sounds like a nice unit..

I still have one of my foamies left.
before I got the sportsmans, I was running 8 foamies.. all had fans and turners.. I had pretty good results with them..
