I bought a used incubator with a turner today for $20! Excited about incubator #4! Sold my guinea keets today and the guy wants more. Plus there is a swap to go to this weekend!

I assume you picked up a LG or Hova.
I had 8 of them before I got my sportsmans
had them all lined up on my work bench with different eggs in each one. Now, that was a stupid statement,, how could I have the same eggs in each one ?? LOL

still waiting for at least a 40F+ day so I can
set up the lathe on the tailgate of the truck
I want to test out my new/used lathe tools

we still have not had a night where the low temperature stayed above freezing.
a friend of mine about 90 miles north of me had minus -4F a couple of nights ago..

Wow Jim, i am very glad we live in VA! I think we had our last frost days ago, at least i hope so!
I am going to the swap on Saturday with bunnies for sale. And maybe some guineas if the other folks don't buy all of them. I need to make a few more carrying cages!

I did get the wooden base for a carrying cage and my big piece of wire is cut. Assembly and pictures tomorrow.
Also worked on my garden.

Today i got all sweaty collecting wood, loading on truck, unloading. 2 truck loads!

it was nice and warm here today, finally..
I spent a couple of hours sitting outside and working on the Craftsman Lathe.
I took all apart, cleaned , oiled and adjusted everything, I even got it put back together

now all I have to do is scrounge up a motor for it.

I think we almost got up to 50F.. lots of snow melted. only about 4 inches left on the yard..

I am building a carrying cage for rabbits today. I'll post a picture when i am done.
And baby guineas are hatching early again!

Not much to look at, but the cage is done. I decided to put solid pop doors on top to provide a bit of shade.
At least it was cheap. Paid for wire, hinges and a bit of paint. Wood was scrap.
