He would if he could, they sent the rest to the crusher ..
even with the transformer it would have been a buggar of a job. there are about 8 extra wires that go to who knows where ? they just cut all the wires and pulled the motor.
I looked the motor up online. $167.oo.
maybe I can put it on craigs list and trade it for an AC motor..

but that project is on hold, anyhow.
our water heater just pooped out.
it still works, but it is dripping about a quart of water per day. that can only get worse..

I got most of the AC mount glued up. Just have to glue on the top board, next.
I could have just gone out and bought a 2ft x 4ft piece of plywood, but what's the fun in that ??
still am not sure that this thing will work.
the suspense is killing me..

I checked with a heater installer. he said they won't put a tankless in farther north than southern Illinois. claims they just can't keep up. they will do gas, however,
but we don't have gas way out here.

the plumber said that a gas tankless would work this far north..
today we ordered a 50 gallon, 12 year water heater. going to be delivered down into our laundry room in the basement.
I am going to try to have the old one drained and disconnected when they get here.. maybe our of the goodness of their hearts they will haul it up and outside for me..

I got the main body of the AC mount all glued up. am thinking of adding ribs on the back side to stiffen it up and help keep it from warping.

I am going to take a que from Cappy and paint the whole thing.

I am happy that I took the time to adjust the table saw and jointers and planer.
makes things a lot easier to square up.

I didn't forget about pictures, Art..

The frame of the latest bunny cage is made, the frame for the door is made, and the wood for the back is cut to size. It is all painted so far. Stapled wire on one end. To be continued tomorrow.
Also built a divider for the bunny run, boys need to be separated from Mom and sister. Installation tomorrow.

Slapped this together yesterday using the existing one as a pattern.
Used larger sized dowels(oops) so had to shave them down so the bottle would fit.
Luckily I didn't glue the dowels before discovering this error in proper prior planning.

I dry fitted the AC mount to the window.
it does not look too bad. and it did fit.
I also slipped it onto the AC just to make sure it would go when it is fastened to the wall.. had to widen the opening a quarter of an inch..

was supposed to pick up my hearing aids today. at the last minute I got a call, they sent them to the wrong VA clinic over 100 miles away. I got the call just as I was about to open the door at the local VA clinic.. good timing, eh?

What do you keep in the bottles? Nice job.
I did get the divider installed, and the boys are separated from the girls. And i made a feeder holder so the Mamma bunny has a hard time throwing out feed. Need to get a picture of that.
And most of the second bunny cage is built, i just need to staple on the last piece of wire after i cut a small piece of wood to staple to on the base. The roof is cut and a base coat painted on one side. So not much left to do on that project.
I planted 55 strawberry plants today, so i am halfway done. I didn't order 110+ berry plants but that is what i ended up with. Lots of digging left to do.

Update on the turkey chalet

got the roof frame replaced
We used a 2x8x10 board across the front there my husband wanted to add a little head room inside and an overhang on the sides to protect the building from rain damage.... one of the reasons the original building failed is they brought the roof just to the edges and the rUn off went down the sides rotting the boards.

here is a view of the back you can see we installed 4x4s to support the roof over the back storage area we are adding as well as the 2 foot overhang on the back side to keep my barrels out of the weather. The storage area will be enclosed and the plan is to put double doors that swing out. With any luck we will get the roof on this eve and be ready for painting the floor over the week end.
