Helpful hints for building coops

Today was about paint.... my helpers even got some paint on the chalet

we used some leftover paint we had laying around and they managed to pain the floor in the house part and the wall and floor in the storage part..
.. I like the teal color, a mixture of left over blue and green. We got foggy and painted the floor before we got the back wall of the house painted so I hope it dries enough to walk on by tomorrow..... lol gotta love kids.

I always get paint on myself, and the dog gets her share too. Sure makes projects look more professional. I paint everthing!

I went outside this morning to work on the AC project. Annie came out and suddenly my plans were all changed.. She cleaned out the back seat of my pick up truck.
I spent a couple of hours sorting more tools and misc items.. as long as I was at it I dragged out a very old cooler full of misc junk and sorted it all out, too.
the boxes of stuff keeps materializing..
It seems for each box I sort, two more takes it's place..
I did manage to get the notched board completed and glued to the main frame.
I will be able to paint it soon.
no fancy colored paint. white.. because that is all I have..
the apple tree is in full bloom.
the plum trees are a few days ahead of it.
nothing doing in the blackberries, yet..
rhubarb is almost ready for a pie..
love that pie..
My mom used to just cook up a batch of rhubarb sauce and make a white cake.
we would scoop the sauce over a piece of cake. haven't had that for years..
she used to make an apple "pie" in a cake pan. just a top crust.. miss that, too..
Art, I haven't forgotten about the pictures..

Our blackberries are blooming. Not the apple tree or peach tree yet.
I painted the wood for a turkey tractor today and made one rectangle for the frame. Hoping it doesn't rain because that stuff is outside. Also ripped wood for a quail brooder. These birds are growing seriously fast!

I was going to do some painting today. but it is raining and it is cold. the paint would probably work, but I won't..
It will dry up later in the week. the paint will dry better then, too..
getting hearing aids tomorrow. I hope I like what I hear..

My mom has expensive hearing aids in her drawer. Never uses them. I think she doesn't understand how they work. She suffers dementia.
I got my wood i painted yesterday inside before the rain started today. It POURED like mad! I did get 11 more strawberry plants in the ground today.
And i assembled the frame for the turkey tractor. Painted the frame for the quail brooder. Pictures tomorrow. Too crowded in the workshop, the tractor is nearly 8 feet long x 30" wide x 44" high. Hopefully no rain tomorrow.

I got hearing aids installed today.
they really work well. maybe too well.
I hear every little snap crackle and pop around me. I can turn the volume on the TV down several notches. Annie asked me if I could hear it ? yep, just fine. I don't think she can, though..

I got the AC mount painted.
Cappy, I noticed your strategically placed chair .. I have those chairs set all over my yard.. when my back starts to ache, I have to sit down for five minutes..
Lately , though, my back holds out for much longer.. I am using Hemp Oil..
CBD is not legal in Wisc yet.. but there is a group fighting to legalize

I rarely sit in the chair, but its there if needed. I have a tall stool i sit on when painting a lot.
I bought 4 rolls of hardware cloth of various types on Sale at Lowes , 15% off today. And 2 more apple trees, plus a hydrangea and some flowers. Really tired tonight.
