OhCrap!!! At the new house or the old house?
Old place. The contractor who did the original water line was a sleazy dirtbag so we figure he did the connection on the cheap and wrong way (I could tell a ton of stories) so it was probably just a matter of time. Kinda wish it had waited till the house was sold but I suppose that would have been bad karma for us :)

why do water problems always fall on a weekend?
many years ago our deep well pump quit on
christmas eve.. Luckily for us, our closest neighbor's daughter was married to a well driller.
He came right on over with a pump and fixed it..
good neighbors are worth their weight in gold..

Same reason kids and pets get sick on Sunday nights or holidays or both. A vast supernatural conspiracy.

And bless your neighbors.

you will have to live off of Art for awhile.
the apple tree and plum trees are just showing the first signs of buds.
the raspberries next to the house have leaves.
I just called by brother, He is coming here tomorrow with his metal detector. hopefully we will find the missing parts of the mower deck.
I already ordered a new idler pulley, so if we find the parts, I will have a spare pulley. that is always good, because if I have the part, I will never need that particular one..
but rest assured, something else will break..

ETA: brother was here with his metal detector.
it took about 10 minutes fo find the idler pulley hub.
nice sunny day today. almost too warm to work outside. LOL

up at 5AM today.
have to try to get the nut off of one of the mower blades. Impact wrench isn't doing it.
Can we say, breaker bar with a cheater handle, boys and girls ??
this mower is still new. less than 40 hours on it.. the blades (both) do not spin freely.
I suspect the factory grease job on the bearings leaves something to be desired.
I don't want to take the spindles apart, but if I don't the bearings will fail, and then I will be replacing maybe the whole spindle assembly..
it has a 3 year warranty, but I don't feel like waiting a month to get my mower back..
