Ever use Gator Blades, Jim?
They work pretty good on tall(knee high) and thick grass.

third nice day in a roe. slept with the bedroom window wide open last night..
supposed to rain a lot starting after dark today and continuing until Monday.
I will try to mow another section of lawn today.

Luckily hubby takes care of the mowing unless he goes on vacation.

It is getting pretty dry here, even though it rained this morning. Tomorrow it is supposed to hit 94° . I am driving to pick up dog kennels that need to be taken apart to fit in my truck. 10x20x6 for $80. Danged good deal for a chicken run.

4 AM, can't sleep.
No Art, I always use just what blades come with the mower. With the blades in the Cubcadet, I mowed 5 feet high raspberries down along with whatever weeds were in with them..
good deal on that dog kennel. . I am going to sell mine.. it is about the same size as the one you bought..
I jury rigged the regulator adjustment on the compresssor. It works , but I can't get the psi above 60psi. but I have a new plan where I think I can get the maximum psi out of it.. If I can get 90psi I will be happy.
I know a storm is coming, the dog is getting clingy.. she hates thunder..
Boots, how is the water problem coming along?

Hi again,
I found a replacement regulator knob that I think will fit my compressor. However, I don't feel like spending $29.oo for it.
So I went to F&F and bought a carriage bolt and a few nuts. I think I can get er going for less than 50 cents.. It might not be purdy, but as long as it works, right ?
still raining , so I will have to wait until tomorrow. we have over an inch since Friday
and it is cold. daytime high about mid 40F's.
got a call this morning. my brother died. He is the first sibling to go. he was the second youngest. we have been fortunate, the youngest of the six of us
is 71 years old. the oldest is 80..
I am not looking for sympathy, just making the announcement..

It was not a shock. He was in a bad way for quite awhile. lots of issues.
He rode his body hard for many years and wore it out to the max.. Just like it was meant for..
