I had a root canal once without numbing, it hurt!
Whaaat!?! Why!?

Cold temps overnight did the trick...not one jam, tho a lot more back and forth cause it was so deep. I still have to dig out the chicken run....and clear the shed roofs so they don't collapse once it warms up again tomorrow...and..geez I'm tired..and sore.

Cappy is braver than I am. I had numbing for my root canal.
Lotsa work with that snow. I hope you don't get dumped on again real soon.
I had a snow thrower once. A walk behind Gravely. It would blow the snow way up and over the power lines. then the magneto quit working and I never got it fixed. what I liked the best about the snow thrower, no snow banks..
snow is supposed to start here at any time, now. only 2" predicted.
Annie made coffee today. rare occasion. I can almost chew it..

Banks can build up, but you're righ,t it's easier than with a plow.
I still clear wider than necessary early just in case, plus then I can go 'sideways'.
Mine throws a good 15' if the snow is light, but if it's wet.. SMH.
Had to hire a plow one year when the piles up at the road got too high,
2 lanes with good shoulders makes for a lot of plow wash
Now I'm more careful where I make the piles and have the 'landing area' to the left there, that I can shovel plow wash into then throw off farther into the yard.

it is waaay to early to have snow banks like that..
like I said, my old Gravely blew the snow straight up over the high lines. probably 25 feet high ? when I directed the spout sideways, the snow landed well over 15 feet from the driveway. this is OK here because I own the land where the snow landed. If you have close neighbors, it think they might object..
Yes, with Ollie, my snow banks start way across the lawn. and way off of the driveway. My brother laughed at me .
Why do you plow your whole lawn ? after winter was well upon us, he saw why. the piles crept half way back across the lawn.
one year we had the township plow for us.
they came in with a V plow taller than the truck cab. made a wide swing, stopped just short of our door and backed up and left.
we had a pile of snow 9 feet tall right in front of the doorway. I had to chop a path through it so we could get out of the house from that door. (our main door). I used shovel and ax because wet snow freezes quickly.. that's when I decided to get my own plow.

Art, just save those pictures. maybe this year you won't have to take new pictures. all you will have to do is re-do the date.:lau
:smack

Juts got the most fragile shed cleared off, last critical thing to worry about before tomorrows thaw.
Before, it had settled a bit(couple inches) than is shown here:

After, was kind of fun in a way, it came off in HUGE but lightweight chunks.
Never done the whole roof in one session.

My tooth was infected, the numbing med didn't work, so the stupid dentist just went ahead and did the root canal anyway!
