In other news, I finished the door of the run and started the frame for the roof of the run.

Hi all,
the ride in was white knuckle. GS drove.
I kept telling him that I was in no big hurry to get there. everybody was driving at about 30mph..
I got up at midnight. stayed at the hospital until 3 PM. took a short nap and now I should be OK until bedtime.
Annie is staying in the hospital until Friday
she has some special P T to learn. her bone was a little brittle and it chipped a little when the dr. was reaming it out for the peg on the ball joint.. She should heal just fine as long as she follows P T instructions closely. She has to walk on tip toe on that side. It relieves the strain on the hip..
She called me just now. says the pain is getting less and less at the incision ..

The mother didn't keep the chick warm. No other chicks hatched, I think that is it.

The dog killed a possum tonight, I was on the way to the barn and saw it. By the time I got back with a gun, dog had it by the neck! End of possum, it was a big one!
