going to be in the low to mid 30's daytimes, and mid 20's night times for the next week.
I spread sand around the parking area and followed that with ice melt..
no precipitation in the forecast..

I can live with those temps..
I am not going to bake anything for awhile.
I am the only one who eats the goodies. I can't eat all of it so I end up throwing half of it away..
maybe I should get a pig or two ??

Yes, or chickens :lau

We had a nice day today once it warmed up. I had to scrape frost off the truck windshield today! But it made it up to 60° at one point. I did some painting on the run and the wood for the run door. Moved many 5 gallon buckets of dirt in my wagon to put around the base of the run.
And I have a new playhouse for my bantams.

people down south are talking about planting carrots. I could do that too; except I don't feel like digging through 2 feet of snow..
made it up to 44F today.. had running water in the yard. snow still did not slide off of the house.. only 4.5/12 pitch.

59 today snow melted except piles and the north side
Inch or two of mud on top of frozen.
Processed one jake and just had another in a net when I slipped. He gets to live another day

The door is built and on the run! It will get painted on a dry day. Got more of the hardware cloth skirt on, but I need more material. Also carted more dirt to cover the skirt.
