I went and picked up the wood today, as well as the 16 , 4x4s for the fence near the road. Poor truck was groaning.

I got about half an inch...may have to water the garden... but the bottom land between the creeks is still squishy and hasn't been mowed this year

We got some rain, which the plants really needed. I did get some work done on the end table nest box, and made a door for one of the quail hutches I am turning into a brooder.

We never did get much rain, less than an inch over 3 days, but the cooling temps and especially the drop in humidity were a blessing yesterday afternoon.

yep, the lower temps and humidity do feel good. we did not get any more rain from the cold front.
our river is over it's banks. but not over the road.
I can tell when the humidity goes down. my old wooden door in my room does not rub.
I am having fits with my tractor battery, it is new.
It takes a charge OK, but doesn't want to hold it. completely disconnected it from the tractor.

I can feel it...and my tobacco tells the tale too....both rather quickly.

I am having fits with my tractor battery, it is new.
It takes a charge OK, but doesn't want to hold it. completely disconnected it from the tractor.

Take it back?
Is it a tractor battery or a car battery...6 or 12V?
Even in my little tractor learned early a good cold amp auto battery works best.

I have the highest cca I could get. it is a regular large battery. good for cars and tractors.
it will be going back if I can't make it work.
F&F is good about their warranty..
the trouble with taking it back is that it chews up a good portion of my day. maybe I will take it back after the day is done.
I am anxious to get the green house floor covered with vinyl. OSB needs protection from moisture.
first I will build the upper track for the front panels.
