the covid is also hard on weddings..
but I feel the worse about the high school kids who could not finish the school year. Lots of potential good memories lost..
after my coffee this morning, I went out and watered all 64 of the tomatoes, peppers and herbs really good..
the first self watering pots I have not done anything with at all since I planted them. they are staying moist and the plants are growing nicely. I wish all the plants had those kinds of pots.. Next year they will..
i talked to DD today.. she has 150 tomatoes in self watering pots.. each set up requires two 5 gallon buckets.. She lives in town and has a small yard. I will bet she can't put both feet on the ground at the same time. LOL
I wonder how corn would grow in pots ?

I got the flooring laid out and cut tonight. It will lay there overnight and relax, then tomorrow I can do the final trimming. Then cut the quarter round to tack it in place. Also cut wood to cover the window so I can attach hardware cloth to the frame. Oh yes, and scraped out the old caulk from those two windows in the goat room and painted all the wood . Once it dries, I can put in new caulk. When you get free windows, sometimes they need work .

I found a 100 foot roll of hardware cloth at a feed store in Altavista, 4 feet wide! Perfect for doing my windows on the goat house. Seems like all of the hardware stores are sold out.
WooHoo!! Jackpot these days!!
How was the price?
How far of a drive?
