I was thinking of building a cute Wishing well to go over our well pipe.

That's a classic.....or a windmill.
Not my style tho.

DH wants a miniature castle tower -- like something you'd see in Skyrim. I'm onboard for it, but his sister, with whom we share the property, doesn't like the idea at all. :D

It's our well, but it's next to the driveway on her section of the property.

we had one that was made out of wooden blocks stacked like bricks. who ever made it did not use treated wood and it disintegraded forty years ago..
I have a sil who has a negative comment on any other persons' ideas. just saying.
Yesterday she said that she hated it when the farmers spread manure on the fields. ''Can't they do something differently ??''
I said, what do you want them to do,,
flush it down the toilet ??
today is overcast. I have no plans to do anything.. I will go with the flow..

She just isn't into our nerdy, game-fan aesthetic. Since the front of the property is hers we respect her aesthetics there and she doesn't plant any orange or gold flowers where I can see them from my part of the yard.

The cute wishing well thing would be more her style.

I braved the hot sun just long enough to take an update picture of the tomatoes.
We invited the first ripe tomato to a BLT surprise breakfast. The guest of honor was delicious.
the front row used to be the back row that got so overcrowded.

when I was a kid, the man across the street from us made a small windmill. When the wind blew, the blades turned and put a little man into motion sawing wood. I wish I would have looked at it more closely. I would like to build something like that.

My aunt's uncle built a miniature working model of a sawmill. it was mounted on a two foot by three foot piece of plywood.
I wonder what happened to it after she died ??

today I arranged a few teeth on the tool bar on the tractor. I plowed a strip of ground for planting a couple more grapes. I made the strip extra long . I will either plant a few extra grapes or finish the row with rhubarb..

Did it cool off there Jim?
Finally did here late this afternoon, I'm like all revved up now.

Yup aart, it cooled off some. the humidity is way low. still don't want to do anything too physical. riding on the tractor, or lawn mower is not so bad.
I have not started up my rototiller this summer. I pulled it out today. tomorrow i will drain the carburetor and give it a go..
I think there is unleaded gas in it from last year. I might have to change that for fresh..
I would like to till up what I plowed today.
