good morning,
Annie's hip surgery yesterday, went well.
She called me at 7AM. sounded pretty chipper. having PT at 7:3oAM. can walk with a walker to the bathroom
Can come home on Saturday.
Good News Jim!
Did she have the other hip or knee done a few months ago?

yes, the day before Thanksgiving. That hip did not go well. A bone chipped when the Dr was driving the ball in. . She spent several weeks in a rehab center.
the staff were nice, the food was terrible.

I went and got all the material i need to start putting the grape arbor up. hope to get some of it going tomorrow.

Hi all, another beautiful day in wisconsin.
this morning my pruning shears fell off of my lap and landed sharp end just behind my ankle.
I have a one inch long cut. It was fine for awhile.
Now it is beginning to hurt.
I have about four more tomatoes to stake. then all I have to do is water them every few days.
that half dead looking cherry tomato plant has produced 150 tomatoes so far. I have to take a picture of that plant..

Maybe you need sutures!

If possible, plywood floor with linoleum on it for easy cleaning. Deep Litter method works!!
Consider poop trays under your roosting bars. They work too!
As mentioned earlier, VENTILATION!!!!! More than you think.
I’m getting my coop in a week. I like your idea to use lino on the floor. What about using it in the nesting boxes? Thank you!

I use vinyl on the floor and on the poop boards and in the nests.
Cut an extra piece for the nests, then you can swap out any messes fast and easy.

Hi all,
good day starting here, Annie will be home by noon.
I found some rhubarb plants (maybe) . waiting for a call back..
have the grape arbor started.
my ankle cut is healing nicely.
Life is good.

Glad to hear you are healing well. I need to put some awnings up on the goat house.

cappy, I just put awning across the front of my garage. I pre built trusses and then lag screwed them onto the wall.
No ground supports needed.
the sloped portion is 48''. they stick out from the wall about 37''..
do you need pictures or a tutorial ? you can make yours any size you want. you don't have the snow load we do up here. so strength is not a problem.
