A state of common sense would/should indicate bird swaps are not a good idea with the HPAI so prevalent.

Yes I have turkey hens I wanted to sell but I heard if the buyer get AI they will test the flocks from any birds or eggs they bought.... I already sold eggs for hatching before I read that.

I had a few people in my life who hate that... but they yank and pull and yank and pull and end up tightening it lol. so their prob not mine lol

an electrician showed me a trick to tighten up a plug. If the spades are not solid, but made up of two pieces sandwiched together. Insert a thin screwdriver or knife and twist. that should separate the two pieces of metal and they will stay plugged in.

I am feeling somewhat better today -- not well, but I'm sitting up at my desk and not planning to get back in bed until after lunch.

The chicks came through their first night outdoors/unseasonable frost threat well with dual heat sources.

Hi from the frozen tundra. Despite all the below average temps, my rhubarb and garlic are coming up. I can see the garlic from the road.
Is it OK if the bulbs are exposed ?
If not, I can mulch them easily yet.
I am off to get my hairs cut. It is that or a dog license. lol

How are the ladies up in the N W doing ? Was it in Oregon ? I forgot their online names . I suppose that is another thing I could look up.
I did get my hairs cut today. I think I lost about five pounds. lol

Why were the bulbs/cloves showing above ground, did you not plant them deep enough...or...?
I assume you planted them last fall?
